A short drive from Manali brings you to Solang Valley, famous for ski slopes and paragliding, offering spectacular views of the Pir Panjal Himalayan range. About 6 km ahead lies Dhundi, the starting point of the Beas Kund Trek.
Beas Kund is a sacred alpine lake and the origin of the holy River Beas. Though relatively short, this trek offers unmatched mountain views within just three days. It also serves as the base camp for major mountaineering expeditions such as Friendship Peak, Ladakhi Peak, Shitidhar Peak, and Hanuman Tibba.
The lush meadows around Beas Kund are summer grazing grounds for shepherds, making this one of the easiest and most scenic treks in the Manali region. This trek is ideal for beginners as well as nature lovers seeking a rewarding Himalayan experience.
